Cloak and Blade LLC ("Cloak and Blade," "we," "us") is a cybersecurity company serving small businesses in the Central Savannah River Area. Protecting information is our business, and that starts with yours. This policy explains what we collect through cloakandblade.com and our communications, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a consultation, download a resource or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number and business name
- Your website address and the tools or platforms your business uses
- Your preferred way to be contacted
- Anything you choose to tell us about your business or a security concern
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours and the services that run it may record basic technical details such as your browser type, device, the pages you visit, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the links you click. Cookies may be used to understand which pages and links people use.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and deliver the service or resource you asked for
- To schedule and conduct consultations and security reviews
- To send you follow-up information about your request
- To send occasional cybersecurity tips and updates, only if you opted in
- To understand which pages and outreach are working so we can improve them

What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We will never ask for your passwords.
- We do not use details you share about a security concern for anything other than helping you.
- Text messaging: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Text messages and calls
If you choose text or phone as your preferred contact method, we will use your number to contact you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
- HubSpot for forms, contact management and email
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security
- Proton for business email
- Quo for business phone and text messaging
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we have a business relationship with you or as needed to respond to your request, and then for a reasonable period for record-keeping and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including multi-factor authentication and access controls on the systems that hold your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we hold ourselves to the same standards we recommend to our clients.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime using the link in any email.
- Stop texts anytime by replying STOP.
- Access, correct or delete your information by contacting us below.
- Cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
